RNS 510 cover
« on: September 04, 2013, 09:23:14 pm »
hey guys,

just about to get my RNS 510 fitted and i was wondering if there are any covers out the that people have bought/made to hide the screen from thugs?

i have seen the lock you can get for it but didnt really fancy taking that route, would just prefer something to hide it

thanks  :happy2:

+1!

IIRC it's four pins which fit either side of the RNS, then a plate goes over the top to cover the unit. Trouble is, when the plate isn't fitted, those four pins are still on show and they look rubbish!

I just googled it i was just wondering if it will be effective - my thoughts are it will just encourage a thief to do more damage to get to the unit

Yeah that was partly my thinking, i would prefer it to be hidden/disguised! A big lock like that just advertises that you have something worth taking
