Winter tyres, yes or no ?

Last year I fitted remold winter tyre for 50 a corner and they were ace really. Best investment made
Don't forget to inform ypur ins as most winter tyres are lower speed rating

What make were they? I tried a mates car, last year with some cheapo remoulds off ebay and they were pants!
£50 a corner makes it worth doing in the sunny south.
