Winter wheels
« on: September 07, 2013, 01:48:01 pm »
Afternoon,

Does anybody run a different set of wheels on their winter tyres to save their wheels getting battered by salt? If so which wheels do you run? Bear in mind they haven't got to look amazing just be cheap enough, fit over the discs and not look dreadful.

All recommendations appreciated.

17" Monzas, easy to clean as there are no edges. Very smooth & no dirt/crud traps. Good quality BBS wheel and cheap as everyone wants 18". Being OE fitment insurance OK with them. Need to tell them you run winters though.  :pomppomp:

Gone but not forgotten :-)

Loads of threads on here about this, use the Search function to help you out but depends on your budget TBH.

What about steel wheels in 17" for cheapness.
