Your RCD510 is not CHINESE COPY, it just for vw Asian market.. it shows nothing on the radio, because it doesn't have RDS.  I am using at the moment the same unit, just mine with USB and RVC capability, because there are 3 diff version. Simple, with usb and with usb and rvc. It's very good thing, for right price.

I got a full refund through Ebay so I have the standard head unit fitted just now.  :happy2:

Fitted this over last few days. GTI lower grilles






Next plan is to get the upper centre grille painted to match the car. It looks tired & faded.

So I've not really done much with the car recently other than  Full service, had the front discs & pads done few weeks ago, MOT is a month away.

   Had a bit Orange tint so fitted it to front fogs today.


Decided I had enough of front end so primed and Matt black sprayed the 3 lowers grilles then fitted them back on.

Haven't done anything for a while,  bored with my matt black wheels so bought these in 17".  Just need to get them fitted when I'm back from holiday.
