God bless Bill.  What a smashing old boy and fair play to the officers for going the extra mile to help get him to his destination.

Good to see someone at that age dedicated to drive to holland. Felt like nothing would stop him.

Agree with that! Well done to those guys.
Sad to hear he passed away on the trip to Holland, but am sure he felt well supported at the time by those officers.

Watched this late last night when i got in. Was pleased the old guy managed to get to Holland for one last meet up prior to passing, would have been sad, had he been sat at home alone.

Regarding the stolen Focus that crashed in Bradford, i can remember that well, what annoyed me the most was all the people stood around filming, giving there opinion of how it should be done and that the services were taking to long  :fighting: :fighting:

Shall look forward to being able to move away from this area in the future  :signLOL:

The soot when he put the foot down said it all. Then I was thinking they are spoiling the GTI's name as it would have got away :P

GTi epic fail when the badge at the back said GT

I was watching one of the numerous police programmes that grace our screens a few years back, and they were chasing a "Golf" that actually turned out to be a Polo!

I saw this yesterday.

What annoyed me was the amount of times the narrator referred to the GT as the GOLF GTI.
