Lower my 1.9TDI

Im wanting to lower my 1.9TDI, I know theres a few owners on here and a few people that have moved onto a GTI so I'm wondering what people have gone for in the past and what people recommend. I've got 18" Pescaras on. Not sure on drop size. (want the car to sit nicer than it does already.) got a budget of about £450
