New Member from Edinburgh
« on: September 10, 2013, 06:23:52 pm »
Hi everyone my name is Brad. Im 22 years old and just in the process of buying a 2005 GTI with 92,000. I will be the 2nd owner from new. The car has full service from VW. Ive purchased the car for £3300. Includes full tank of fuel and 4 brand new tyres. Think this has been a good deal? Just wondering what i need to look out for? I currently own my first car a Fiat punto 1.2 16v 6speed. I am a painter to trade so my new car wont be standard for long lol. Hope I can learn alot from you guys as this is my 2nd car

Here a few pics of my punto. Should have the golf end of this week or next :)

Welcome along from Edinburgh also.  I've not been on here long after buying my gt tdi but there are a few members from Edinburgh or roundabouts this area.

Welcome Brad, good to see yet more fellow Edinburgers on here. Would be good to meet up and see your car, although I only have the GT TDi. I've owned a Golf before and so have been in the modifying game for a while.

Where about are you from? I think Ant (Ant.W28LKR) and I are hoping to meet up sometime. Would be good to organise a meet some time.

You say you're a painter to trade. I'll send you a message about getting some parts painted.  :happy2:

Good to hear Brad. I work in Loanhead so it'd be really handy for me.  are you based here or just at your lock-up from time to time?

Perfect.  Like I said got a couple bits I'm needing done.  Looking to get them done ASAP.   I've got a Ed30 lower valance & gti sideskirts to be colour coded.  Brad, You need to make a few more posts so you can access your PMs as I've sent you one the other day.

We should arrange a meet, when suits yous?

£3300 seems like a pretty good price - well done. Is it in good nic, or did it need paint anyway? Did you get it through the trade?
