color looks awesome, does your plate mean anything or just a short plate for style?

bags and valves cleaned up.

need some new top nuts for the valves just to make them look nice, then on monday rear bags and rebuild kit will be ordered

also sorted out a digital gauge setup for the front of the car and started to buy bits to fabricate my controller.

With it being a budget build and trying to keep it sub £600, I'm having to search for stuff

I've ordered all the parts for the control box now. So if they come before Christmas I'll make that.

Still to get though

Rear bags
Tank
Compressor
Pressure switch
Fuses and relay
Wood
Rebuild kit

So I'm half way there lol.

I want to be methodical this time run all the wires so it looks as factory as poss

Well today saw the real start of the build,

id ordered a few bits off ebay, but todays spend was propper

accuair 3 gallon tank
110-145psi pressure switch
viair 380c compressor
air lift rar bags and brackets
two front strut rebuild kits

so with that little lot ordered i built the housing part of it

heres the main base and how it will sit in the wheel well

IMAG0845 by cuprajake1, on Flickr

after that i made a mount for the valves

IMAG0851 by cuprajake1, on Flickr

this will sit on top with the valves underneath hidden away with only the four shreader valves sticking up, the whole thing will be covered in grey carpet

IMAG0855 by cuprajake1, on Flickr

IMAG0854 by cuprajake1, on Flickr

the plan is to have the tank at the back next to the rear panel, then the compressor on the right hand side

Those valves look similar to the ones I used when I started my build on the corsa. They didn't seem to work for me unfortunately. They kept sticking shut and even after taking them apart they still wouldn't work. Hopefully you have better luck than me mate :)

You could have bought an AVS switch box that looks like yours :P cracking effort though, it looks amazing so far mate. Going to definitely follow this build.

Any joy keeping the warning lights at bay for the LED tails?

The avs one didn't cost £10 lol. But you are right. Everything has to be imported so it's got $70 shipping on it right away.

Yes Mike not had one fault cost yet mate.

Cheers Jay. It's getting there slowly

IMAG0891 by cuprajake1, on Flickr

then added my outer case to the cntrol unit wires

IMAG0899 by cuprajake1, on Flickr

still waiting on the pressure switch and the rebuild kit,

ive also wired the valves up, and then ran a bit of the pipe to the valves with tee's getting ready

im going to try and get the boot set up ready to bench test for leaks as soon as the compressor comes
