The arm rest is brutally crude. It attaches with 5 self tapping screws through the bottom. This means if you take it out the centre console is ruined.

Decided today as I never refitted the reverse camera to the tailgate to change the pin out so I could get audio as well as video.

Redid the pins and tested it all working well, then I've just been in my loft and found my old PlayStation2 so I can have DVD on there. Get in

Ordered one of these,

Plan is to do the back box delete myself seen as it was done so well before !!!

Then I'm not sure about getting these

Like the mk5 ones but it means I'd have to cut my door panels. So massive job with potentially big cost.

Bought myself a steam cleaner for the car, er mean house ;)

Used it as my seats looked a bit tarnished even once wet vac'd

Really impressed with it. Seats look a lot better, also did all the seals n dash etc come out really well

One negitive is I've lost my jacking cover again, going to buy the bloody steamer

That's quality - that is a 90's Honda Prelude look with exhaust tips that small!

Still loving this build Jake - which steam cleaner did you go for? Still need to get round to firing up the one I bought on my ED30's interior...

Just a vac one. Around £100 but it's done a really good job.

Exhaust was a joke. For some reason the server swap has lost about 10 of my last posts.

I did run a straight through exhaust but it was raspy, loud and out right Barry boy nova style. So the Oe one is back on and I'm deciding what to do.

Today, after the fail of the exhaust I decided to do this,

Untitled by cuprajake1, on Flickr

You can see the perforated holes, all four pipes have these, I've already covered the lower two, with half a piece of pipe,

This is all the fibreglass stuffing. Enough for two bin bags,

Untitled by cuprajake1, on Flickr

Here's the pipes all covered

Untitled by cuprajake1, on Flickr

We did weld all the edges before putting half the stuffing back in and welding shut,

The idea of this is.  The perforated holes make the exhaust quieter and slow down the gases, by blocking off half these holes I've made the car louder and still kept away form any raspy-ness....

I can still open the other side and block the rest of the holes should I want more noise,

But tbh I'm happy with the sound, very oem just a bit deeper.

Here's a very pants vid.

Really doesnt represent the sound

Well the new air bag is in the uk, plan is to get the air ride all installed next sat,

I've been waiting so long for the bag. Everything is ready to be installed and run, so really it should be same sort of time as fitting coilovers.
