Hi Guys,
Thanks for the interest!!! As some have mentioned already i work for Tyresure and am in a position to offer a GB on these systems. (RR i will PM you with the details, if they are better than others you receive let me know!)
Now for someone who is a bit of a dumb ass when it comes to electronics i may not know all of your question's off the top of my head but i can certanly find out.
1, Communication between the sensor and dispay unit is 433.92MHz
2, Not sure on a resolution but the display is LCD
3, Pressure accuracy is +/- 1psi (i have yet to use a petrol station that reads the same as my unit)
A visual check will tell you if the tyre is flat, not if its running 5 or 10 psi to low. You can take almost all of the air out of a 225/40/18 tyre before it looks different, particulary if its over a long period of time as all tyres will loose air.
Below is a pic of where i currenmtly have the system. I have already used it in the ash tray but i found myself looking at it whist driving...... not the best idea! I dont think it looks too bad, my 1st choice is the drivers air vent though and am working on some form of bracket at the moment............... Even so, other than the green numbers i think the actual display looks fairly OEM
Im my mind the system is great, it gives info that you woulddnt normally have and piece of mind when im on a long journey that mu tyres are going good
