What a difference new tyres and 4 wheel alignment makes!
« on: September 14, 2013, 11:38:06 am »
I have had budget tyres on the back for a while now and they were poor, esp in the wet. Got some vredestein to match the front and had a 4 wheel alignment and cars runs amazing now! If anyone is in the same boat as I was get the above done you won't regret it!

I've had a combo of decent AS2's on the front and cheapo tyres on the back... makes for some "interesting" driving in the wet... :driver:

As much fun as having my snow tyres on this week? Got 4mpg more though but going around corners is a bit white knuckle
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

I did the same last year mate, put them on way too early (unless your going somewhere), watch the wear rate at these temps, I chewed through mine quick. :happy2:

I was on the way to get my wheels painted so had to put these on. They'll be back off on Tuesday!
17s are way more comfortable than 18s too.

Back on topic, totally agree with the OP. having a proper alignment must pay for itself with even tyre wear etc  :happy2:
