Coilover advise
« on: September 15, 2013, 09:13:53 pm »
Looking into getting some coilys for my ed30

Been looking at aps and fk highsports but can't decide between the two.
Is it worth spending that extra bit of money on better ones?
Be good to hear a few people's views to see what there running

Thanks Dom.

got Weitec Hicon GTs on mine. done about 30k miles on them now, and they're absolutely great. better ride than my OEM Audi S-Line suspension, and basically stopped body roll completely. would recommend them all day long.

I would say spend a little more, especially if its a daily car

It is a daily at the moment but hopefully I'll be getting a work van soon!
My mates got a mk6 golf gti and a mk5 gti with fk highsports on both and they feel fine but I don't know if I should spend the extra for a nice set which will hopefully last me years!

I went for kw v1s and find them pretty comfortable but as sub39h said, weicons get a good rep!

I like how low the fk highsports go compared the to aps, weicons and kw!
