original make brake pads ED30

Can anyone please tell me what original brand of Brake pads VW put on the ED30's.
Also can any one suggest anything better ( do get the occasional dreaded squeak, they are not down to the metal !! ).
Any input appreciated.

Think they are ATE same as the standard GTI... Link

Most of the time squealing is down to no or little grease on the back of the pad, try some ceratec grease: link

The brakes are the same on Ed30 and GTI.
