My Mk5 is great apart from one problem on long trips... after a while the internal fans decide to no longer blow into the cabin (although you can hear the main fan by the glovebox blowing a gale). If you stop and turn off the engine for about 10 minutes the fans decide to start blowing again for 10 or so minutes before packing in again. The aircon is still working as the vents themselves are cold to the touch but the air is not moving.
I have the dual zone climatronic unit that has allegedly had it's resistor pack (?) changed a few yrs ago.
Anyone able to shed any light on this?
