Clutch is slipping
« on: September 17, 2013, 05:52:56 pm »
Finally got round to getting a revo stage 1 map
Had no problems with my clutch slipping before hand but as soon as it got mapped and I took it out for a spin it started straight away :(
Was looking at the LOBA single mass flywheel and Sachs clutch kit
Is anyone running this kit? Is it worth it?
I'm only planning to go stage 2 and that's it

Anyone recommend a better clutch kit?

Thanks Dom.

Foe most peeps a SMF is the more track/fast option and the DMF is more of a normal/fast road answer so depends what your doing with you car.

As well as the Organic Sachs look at Helix, that's the one I'll be getting when/if I need one.

Better to fit a clutch too strong than a clutch too weak.
If you think you might be running 330lb ft and a clutch who's torque rating is 400lb ft would last a lot longer than one with a rating of 350..

Well it'll only be for fast road use, doubt I'll take it on a track and I'm only going stage 2

Does anyone know, With a single mass flywheel does it make it sound like a tractor and rattle like anything?
