Gti 2007 not boosting hard

hi guys

my car is not boosting hard but its boosting. the turbo is spooling and its dumping.. is there a simple test I can do to check whats going on?
I secured the induvtion kit properly and it feels slightly better as the previous owner did not even clamp it to the turbo!!

Check the DV!
Smoke test it for leaks

Ill def change that part this evening when I get home looks easy enough on the you tube clips 

anything els u think I should have a look at?

was thinking of buying some decent spark pugs and oil aswell

check all your pipes are secure as you could be getting boost leak.

awsum will check them all..

ill take the dv off and clean it..if its stuffed then ill have to order it..hope its nothing serious

Check what revision DV you have on the car at the moment. I had similar problems and changed the DV to a revision G and the car felt a lot better. I recommend you change the DV anyway its £39 from VW and you can probably change it yourself.

i took it off and its cean as a whistle. took it into auto electrician so he can check it out. going to cal vw now
