Upon till recently, my car radio has been turning itself on. Not sure if its related to it being on the cd option for my multi changer? or the fact i've just changed all 6 cd's in the changer?
Can anyone shed some light as to what might be the problem?
Pretty sure its the RCD 300 model.
right, so just a little update.
it comes on regardless of what setting its on, radio/cd.
i've also noticed that it only comes on after i've had the engine on. didn't to do anything if i had it on half ignition.
i also had the battery disconnected for an hour or so hoping i'll have to put the code in, but after reading the radio user manual, it says disconncting the battery isn't an issue and i won't need to enter anything.
the car is in the garage now with battery disconnected overnight
i imagine there is a fuse for it? removing it should disable it?
