I don't commute in mine as have a works van.

But last month I was driving most mornings home in it, and found it to be so nice to commute in with having dsg kinda wish I did commute in it haha!

atm, I can't boost as I don't want to mess my engine internals as I have the wrong map, but before and no doubt after, the desire to just floor it is great. I succumb most of it the time  :innocent:

Mine's a daily driver - feel slightly bad about subjecting it to the M4 everyday, but I bought it to be used!

If you can find a nice low mileage one, and have the financial luxury of being able to keep it pampered in a garage, then why not?

Thanks for the input all!

Like so many of you said it's just not nice watching the mileage creep up!

Gonna carry on using mine daily for the time being and see if I can get myself a little smoker in the future.

I agree it's an awesome all rounder!

I love my ED30 however don't lambast me for this, but it's just a Golf.

Use it and enjoy it for the awesome 'ticks all boxes' car it is.
I  had a GT TDI before and it is no fun sitting in traffic in one of them either.

My wife takes it to work when I am away and she loves commuting in it!
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Daily driver for me too. 320bhp daily, and a fairly cheap one to run compared to most. And it's good fun :happy2:
