Osnabruk in Germany is a UK army base you might have a car that's been owned over seas buy uk armed forced.

I was in osnarbruck and I think this could have been a tax free forces car as well I took advantage and bought a few doesn't mean it was an import though

Mine was from the UAE and first reg when new! It's not uncommon.
