Loose wire help
« on: September 23, 2013, 09:17:33 am »
Couple days ago i found this wire had come out of its holding and was catching on the radiator fans. Very nearly ripping through this wire.

I have now secured it with zip ties. Is it safe to have zip ties there? I'm guessing it gets hot there?

Anyways, Does anyone know what that wire is for?

I might change the plastic ties with metal 1's as i'm not 100% confident.

Thanks,
Sean

It's the wire that is sitting in the silver metal. The long piece running horizontal.

If you zoom in you can see its chopped away at the wire.
