my view on these is that they will be better than a mk5 edition 30.

but, if you have enjoyed a highly modified eddie or pirelli i dont think getting one of these would be enough of a step up. if you have had a ko3 gti maybe only at stg 1 then yes go for one of these and you will love it.

otherwise would have to be an R imo
Diamond Black Pearl Edition 30, still going strong but now back to Stg 1

The difference between an ED30 and ED35 is probably minimal in terms of performance. Most people moving from a modified ED30 would probably do the same with an ED35.

The advantages are MK6 looks/interior with the tuning background of TFSI and the opportunity to not have Tartan cloth!

The Golf R would indeed be a bigger change.

I'm not a fan, had it in the MK5 and I just thought the Greyness made the interior a bit drab.

I bet if full leather was an option on the Edition 30 you would hardly see cloth.

Don't  like the mk6 at all sorry guys they seem to have lost their way I think.

Looks like an Edition 35 owner has seen the light ....and is looking a part exchange

I thought 4WD was the mutts nuts until I went to Castle Combe and the pre trackday briefing slated it as just extra weight not needed  :ashamed: and I was in an Audi S3
