Those with the new Revo intake....
« on: September 22, 2013, 11:41:07 pm »
Could you please post your fuel trim values together with the mileage since intake fitted.

It's vcds block 032 and you don't have to start the car to get the values.

Neil my idle trim is roughly the same as yours but my long term value is 7ish% though I've not done more than 250 miles with it atm.

fwiw your long term trim value is very good.

Surprisingly, and after being told it would be noisier, I find the noise level similar to the twintake.

The car is definitely more eager in the mid range but not planning a RR session just yet.

I seem to have more of a flutter noise when changing gears now... I assume it's air being pushed back out from the turbo!

Ive had my REVO CAI fitted for a week now (sorry no VCDS) and find it quieter than both the ITG Maxogen and EVOMS previously fitted to the car.

Mind you, I can't hear the thing once the Powervalve TBE gets going though!

Good long term trim  :happy2:.
Your idle trim seems a little high though.

Not sure if this would have an impact on the readings but stage 2+ was put on last Monday previously was a stage one

The car is definitely more eager in the mid range but not planning a RR session just yet.

It seems alot of people and other tuners are recommending against the twintake after its been proven its not as efficient as the other alternatives!
