What is the verdict on the REVO then? Especially those coming from ITG

I have ran the Twin take on my GTI all this year. They work well but planning on stage 2+ next year so thought I would change to the Revo Intake.

Anyone interested in the Revo Items, please PM me and I`ll sort a price  :happy2:

What's the verdict mike??

Battery has sh*t itself, left it connected for 10-12 weeks. (It's a 4.5kg Braille)

New one is en route  :happy2:

Initial thoughts;

The heat shield end is obviously much nicer finished that the ITG

The filter element is smaller than the one that came on my ITG (my head thinks bigger lets more air in?)

The 'route' the air takes looks smoother, the pipe work looks like it's larger in diameter but I don't have one to put side by side.

The bit of silicone that joins the main pipe to the filter could do with being an inch or so longer, I think this may have been remedied in newer kits. Not sure

Got the cam coated version, might wrap the back of the heat shield with heat reflective material for my usual overkill 'belt & braces, every little helps' approach.

Got high hopes, it gets great reviews and looks decent.

It has to be said the Heath Robinson look of my wrapped ITG with foam heat shield never bothered me aesthetically as I felt it did a decent job.  Looking forward to seeing how this one performs  :party:
