Johnny Smith? Seems like a perfectly nice bloke to me, far worse on TV.

Exactly my thoughts too.. I thought, ahh well they've probably ragged it around and left the engine bay looking dirty on Anglesey... and the DV in the engine bay, must have researched K04 :signLOL:

Regarding JS, seems to balance out the 5th gear arrangement with the current/ex drivers on there, taking the side of GREEN issues more often than not... what happened to the big curly haired guy btw? TBF, 5th gear ticks more boxes for the petrol head than TG... but I'll watch both, cos they're FREE  :happy2:

And what does people think of Red-x on modern day cars? worth a £5 to try clean the injectors?

Not sure, it did seem to make a decent amount of difference for the VR6 though - as long as it doesn't harm, it's worth a punt at £5.

I might do a back to back test with the VCDS dyno, as long as no one has a genuine reason not to use it on TFSI..?

I doubt it does any harm , I use the 'One Shot' little bottles of Redex Injector Cleaner every now and then when I remember and its never done either of my GTIs any harm as far as I can tell!

Well on direct injection engines they don't really do much but hey up to you. I suspect a new fuel filter would have achieved the same gain.
