How much do you estimate you'd need to do the grill and wing mirrors?

Was it easy?

Wouldnt put that stuff on the wing mirrors Andrew. Its great on smooth, flat painted surfaces, but when highly stretched, (Which you would need to do on the mirror covers) it will shrink back and start to peel away and reveal the colour your trying to cover.

Mirrors are best done in Gloss black to match the door shuts or some Real carbon effect covers.

Jay, that really looks great on a Black car. Better then i thought.

Well done chap  :happy2:

Not sure about the steering wheel but love the rest of the car. Why did you go for an ED30 interior? The leather seats were awesome when I sat in them.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Thanks Phil, that's good advice.

I really like the way you and some others have created a bit of contrast matching the wing mirrors to the grill surround, but on a black car like mine there doesn't seem to be too many options. I like the OSIR matt carbon surrounds but I'm guessing they're pricey? Any other options that anyone has seen?
