JPC's Soot Chucker! ;)
« on: December 02, 2008, 01:56:00 pm »
Hi guys, i thought i best get some pictures up here!
Well Here is my soot chucker. it was delivered on the 27th Nov 2008.
Brand new 3dr 170 GT Sport, with leather, dual zone climate, ipod prep with arm rest. to be honest, the car isnt as well spec'd as i'd like it. I bought it after VW were taking orders for custom mk5s. Bit of a shame but i am more than happy with the car given the circumstances. It was the last 3 door with leather with 170bhp. So the "unchange-able" bits are all there! ;)

Here it is exactly how i picked it up! :)

12 miles on the clock! :)

So then the first thing to do was change the alloys, the 17" Classix were just a bit too boring!

on Went Some Genuine Brand new (still had barcodes on the spokes) R32 Alloys. I picked these up from a VW Dealer last week.

Also i swapped all the lower grills to GTI honeycomb ones. I went for the open grills too.

Sorry about the focus, i think i needed to wipe my lense!

Next was onto the ED30 Rear lights. A must do mod in my opinion to be honest!

One light out

both outer lights done

all rear lights done! ;)

Next was install some genuine Xenons!

Here they are installed. but guess what, kufatec sent the wrong adaptor cables! great! they were from a mk4. still awaiting delivery of the correct ones! ;)

The next day the car went to a body shop to have R32 Brakes installed. they were no doubt the best mod so far!

heres the car on the ramp

and the finished brakes

Also at the bodyshop i got a Genuine Edition 30 Front splitter along with brand new genuine GTI side skirts and rear bumper. I got these all painted too.

here is a pic of the front splitter

Ill get some better pics when i detail the car, keep checking back! ;)

then i swapped the upper grill for a GTI one, I dropped off the I as obviously its not a GTI. So it says GT now.

Thats it now guys and girls! :) thanks
