That drawing implies to me the smallest form it's sold in is the vacuum pump.

I think its down to poor design i think the new pump is a revised design cant remember. I presuming its the same issue i have. I was will sort it eventually but for now it doesnt csuse me to many problems. Iirc the new part was around 300 plus.

I have the same issue on my ED 30 and the specialist I go to for servicing etc said its relatively common and not to worry unless the leak is severe. Given that I'm not eating oil and no other problems he suggested holding on until I have the next cambelt/water pump change and then he can have another/closer look as he thinks its just a minor fault with the engine design and shouldn't cause any problems.

Put me at ease seeing others have this leak as well tbh but I appreciate it would be nice to clear it up. I get oil in that area but no dripping oil on the drive etc.

Mine had this when I purchased it.

The vacuum pump that sits on the cam chain housing has a o ring seal. Take a note of the part number and pop alone to local dealer. Circa £10 and should fix it.

Have the gearbox out of my Edition30 and I noticed mine was leaking from the bottom right corner.  Stuck the ratchet on the bottom torx bolts and surprisingly got a good couple of turns on them so hoping that will stop the slight leak.
