If your buying for aesthetics then the Carbonio looks good on the TFSI but you won't see any gains.  They pop up now and again on ebay, there's a replica; Carbon speed, I think its called, very similar bit of kit for less dollars.

Yeah I've been told that I won't get any gains I've also been told that I will loose low end torque if I buy a cai like the evoms or itg etc, I am planning on getting a milltek cat back for Xmas and possibly a remap next year, ideally I'd like a evoms but don't want to loose that low end power, but I will be getting a remap, stage 1 revo/apr maybe stage 2! So I'm still unsure to be fair on which to buy!

K04, I'd just map it personally, and then upgrade the brakes. :driver:

There is one on eBay now says brand new in box might be worth a look :happy2:

You won't lose any PWR/TRQ with the Carbonio on TFSI because it doesn't do anything except look pretty; seriously don't buy it for any other reason.

With the K04, which isn't known for great low down torque/power anyway (sub 3k), if you want a CAI then do it properly with a Neuspeed/Revo/Twintake where you should make some fairly decent gains... but whatever you decide definitely get it mapped, it'll make you smile like a cheshire cat. :drinking:

^^^^ Spot on.  :happy2:

Carbonio for bay bling and not a lot else. Get the map done ASAP and go from there, its a crime not to map an Eddy. Look into Linear throttle maps for smooth delivery of power.

Happy modding.

Thanks for the advice I meant people have said they loose torque on a revo/evoms in comparison to the stock/carbonio intake? I'm not sure how true this is?

Thanks Jay

Yes mate, but seeing as your stock atm, if you were to whack a decent CAI in there and a custom rTech map... you wouldn't notice --- well, only that your now around 70BHP and 100LB/FT up over standard. :jumping:
