New potential mkv owner
« on: October 01, 2013, 01:13:19 pm »
Hi everyone, brand new to the board. My MK4 Golf pretty much died the other day so lm looking to upgrade to a MK5 GTI or TDI. Budget of around £5000. Any clues, hints etc would be great. Many thanks in advance.

Up your budget to £6500 otherwise a decent GTI will be out of your price range . TDI ? Well i would buy one on condition of the body and the interior , i think that diesels go for ever so mileage is less of an issue  :innocent:

Keep an eye out on here, seen a few mint ones go for around the 5.5k mark so 5k is doable for a GTI just make sure if its slightly higher milage it has a decent service history! Good luck with the search :happy2:
