Installing votex front splitter
« on: October 01, 2013, 07:06:27 pm »
Ok, I will be putting on a Votex front splitter very soon (next week). I am trying to establish how it goes on for definate. I'm pretty I have it sorted, and I have consulted my amazing version of ETKA (which doesn't really help as it's all split anyway) but just in case...

Bottom screws in arch
All the screws under the original splitter
Pull the spoiler and splitter off
Put the new one on
Put all the screws back

Sound good?

*Changed some stuff

Sounds about right, as long as it's the Votex splitter.

Vortex is a large American VW forum, do they sell pattern parts?  :surprised:

It's a lot easier to take the bumper off and do it that way.

If no joy there kunzmann from Germany will deliver it ups tracked from Germany for ~£250 depending on the exchange rate. Uk dealers can find it hard to source them sometimes
