Yes seats will fit in, I think some years have a difference in the plug for airbags but this can be modded.

It would also be a complete shame not to wire up the heated seats so you can purchase a loom from Kufatec and new heater panel and get them working eventually.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

As Skard said, you will need the loom - http://www.kufatec.co.uk/shop/en/volkswagen/golf/golf-5-golf-5-plus-1k/seat-heating-harness-vw-golf-5

the control panel which varies depending on whether you car has standard heating/AC/climatronic

and here is an amazing guide written by a member of the forum http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,62645.0.html

You will have to disconnect the battery before commencing, upon reconnecting you'll have the ESP fault where you need to turn full lock each way when stationery, then drive forward slowly for it to go out.

Otherwise you'll log an airbag fault by disconnecting seats with the battery connected.

And as I mentioned, this is assuming your new seats airbag plug match the old ones.

I don't know, when I previously did it my plugs matched up. Best thing to do would be get pics off the seller and compare them to yours.
