LED Puddles
« on: October 02, 2013, 12:16:00 am »
I've done a little searching about these, but some threads show a replacement LED and others a LED cluster within a unit... and most threads are quite old.

So, does anyone know which is the best solution for a nice bright Puddle LED light in replacement for the OEM bulb/s? :happy2:

On my phone at mo, if you check my sig somewhere nearer the back page there are pics of the aftermarket cluster replacement and also an ebay seller of them (unit comes with a wedge type fitment and error free).
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Thanks for the info chaps... I should've said I meant the Mirror Puddle Lights - I'll look into the cluster ones as they seem brighter. :happy2:

Does anyone have those Ghost VW lights from the door puddle light?  Chavvy or cool?

I have these in my mirrors

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLKSWAGEN-GOLF-MK5-2-0-1-9-GTI-GT-R32-UNDER-MIRROR-LED-PUDDLE-LIGHT-LAMP-WHITE-/270994492333?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f1887cbad

there really bright and well worth the 30 quid, i've had the standard w5w, then went to LED w5w then to these , one thing though no matter how hard i tried i couldn't push the light home with its bulb holder adaptor on the end so i cut it off and soldered it on, never had a problem.

i also have the ghost shadow lights and don't think there chavvy at all. not that i care what anyone else says anyway as i make my own opinions.
Loads of extra's and retro fits.
