Everyday car or weekend fun?
Weekend fun wise, E92 M3, C63 AMG or a well specced Evo 8,9,10
Daily driven? MK6 Golf R, Audi S3 or be different and wait for the new Cupra R to come out (rumours are it'll be awd too!)

I'm surprised you sold your car without knowing what to go for next

I work out in the stick's so got rid before winter set's in and I have my heart set on a MK6 'R'(has to be a 5 door) but i've been looking at M3's as well.

S5 with a Stage 1 map.
Or a Mk6 R with a Stage 1 map
Or maybe a Mk7 Golf GTi ex demo in a few months?
Or a Porsche Cayman?
There's loads of great cars you can afford with that budget.
