ko4 on a ko3 car questions ?

hi guys will my milltek down pipe fit a ko4 ?
will my neuspeed p-flow fit it ?
will/can revo change the software for this ?
and will the forge dv im using on my ko3 work on the ko4 ?

as far as im aware everything is a straight swap DP and Intake wise.

not sure about the DV as it will have to be relocated to the front of the engine, and revo, superchips etc all do a stge 3 conversion for k04 upgrades

Your downpipe is a slightly smaller diameter than the one Milltek developed for the K04, but I understand that the flange can be made to fit.

The Neuspeed P-flow would need a take off pipe for the remote location of the Diverter valve. If it doesn't have one it will need one tapping into it.

Revo should be able to do software for this, but it would not be as simple as a stage 2+ remap. This is partly due to the different compression ratio of the pistons - which are lower on the ED30. The best bet is to give Revo a ring as I'm sure they have done this before at some point. It maybe that the map will be a stage 3 remap which is more custom than the 2+ map.

The Forge K03 diverter valve is bolted directly onto the turbo, wheras the K04 Forge DV is located manually at the front of the engine bay. It would work, but not as well as the specific one and would also need adapting to fit.

Yes, the injectors will need to be uprated to the ED30/S3/Cupra injectors :happy2:

you could always go back to a whoooshy dv mate so don't have to worry about tapping into the intake side.

depending on what pipes ur using...i'm not sure ur gonna have a take off for a DV anyway!

so in theory you could run without one, and see how that turbo starts making some funny noises lol.

Our ED30 Conversion includes all of the following:



If you purchase the OEM ED30 d.v. relocation pieces you will be able to use your Forge d.v. or any d.v. that is made for the ko3 turbo.

We recommend the newest OEM d.v. as it is a plastic piston which is as strong as aftermarket valves so no fears of failure but is as responsive as the OEM electronic valve.  You won't have to give up response for strength.


Your ko3 downpipe will bolt straight up and you'll be able to use your p-flow as well.

You need the following for the OEM d.v. relocate:



and a Custom Made Wiring Harness extension for the d.v. wiring.

You may also need the part on the far right side of the picture above, , depending upon whether or not your throttle body pipe has the extra bung for the "noise maker".

I like the aut..... :fighting:

I have some pretty extensive experience turning wrenches myself from engine and transmission builds to turbo kit installation and fabrication, intercoolers, intakes, exhaust systems, etc. so I understand why you want to save a few quid and enjoy installing your own fuel pump.

HOWEVER,

The FSI HPFP is the one automotive part I would recommend having rebuilt by a properly trained professional with the correct tooling and measurement devices or installing a pre-assembled unit that was constructed in the same manner.

I am not sure if you are aware of the manufacturing processes and testing and q.c. that go into these pumps but if you aren't let me know and I'll spend some time putting the info together.

The short of it is that we have chosen to invest over half a million dollars in the assembly and q.c. processes associated with our HPFP upgrade to insure no assembly errors or run in failures occur as the damage to your engine can be costly.

pretty sure the head is not the same on the ed30 ie the cams too as thats y they dont suffer from cam lobe problems
