Use it once you have washed and rinsed car (don't dry car) then spray iron x all over the car give it a few mins but don't let it dry then just give it a really good rinse off. That's it as far as iron x is concerned.
WHEELS: Clean and fully dry wheels before adding iron-x, wash off before it dries.
CAR: Clean and pat dry (best way to stop adding swirl marks) and then add iron-x, wash off before it dries.
Key things: DO NOT allow iron-x to dry. Putting it on a dry car and wheels means that it will not dilute further. Also, if you add it to a wet car/wheels, more of the product runs off before it's able to react and do it's job.

Sure helps me matey, so it doesn't need to be bone dry just a quick pat dry around the car will be enough before spraying iron x? I've only used it the once and only on the paint not the wheels, this stuff pretty new to me.
