Proud MKV owner in Burton on Trent
« on: October 09, 2013, 09:32:12 pm »
Very excited as l purchased my MKV today. Replacing a V plate MKIV  which has become a money pit as l never really looked after it. New car is a 2.0 TDI, picking it up over the weekend hopefully and looking forward to some good times with it. Not really into "modding" as such, but there are some improvements l would like to make. First up are the electric window switches which are a bit tatty and the climate control controls. After that, maybe some kick plates and a boot pop kit. Im based near Burton on Trent, so would be great to hear from other members in the area.

Ben

Hi Matto, thanks for getting in touch. Im sure I will be pestering you for help/ideas fairly soon. Cant wait to get my new car on the road. Took it for a test drive yesterday and the difference between it and my old Golf (MKIV SDI) is huge.

Welcome.

The 2.0tdi is fairly reliable and goes well with a remap, though coming from an SDI no doubt you think it is perky enough.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)
