15" winter wheels on a gti?
« on: October 11, 2013, 08:09:06 pm »
Will the 1.4 mk5 golf 15" alloy wheels fit my 2005 gti?

I have four brand new 15" winter tyres that I'd prefer to use rather than sell m

This is the wheel is was wondering about:

eBay item no: 221293321698

Not sure it will cover the 312mm disk?

It would look a bit crazy but should keep me moving when it snows!!!

I wouldn't think so. I run 16" wheels in the winter and the caliper only has a few mm of clearance

You need 16 inchs to clear the brakes.
Unless you want to downgrade the front brakes to 288mm over winter..
