Hi Dodds mate. I've had a look at them. They're all doing in the other way.  I want to keep my GT centre grille (where VW badge is)  and buy the three GTI lower honeycombe grilles.  lower left fog, lower centre, lower right fog.   Sorry i wasnt maybe as clear in my first post.  I just wanted to see if anybody has done this before i go ahead with it.

Thanks :happy2:

That looks cool! Is the GT Bumperl the same as the GTI? I always thought the GT Sport and the jetta was the same Bumper?

No... The Golf facelift is the same bumper. Same part number.
The grills are different.

The Jetta bumper is a different part number and has different fog light shape (the fog light grills are different but the rest of the grills (center top and bottom) fit the same.

IMO have either GT grills or GTI grills. Don't mix them up. Looks like a hotch potch of parts otherwise.

See i want to keep the GT identity hence why i'm keeping the upper grille but i prefer the GTI lower Grilles. I like that Speedline version, i dont think it looks all that bad.  If i went full GTI front grilles then it looks like i'm trying to make it look like a GTI and thats not what i'm doing  IMO.

You can get copy parts for cheap as chips:

Centre: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-FRONT-MESH-LOWER-BUMPER-GRILL-GRILLE-FOR-VW-MK5-GOLF-GTI-JETTA-GT-NEW-/360649778432?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AGolf&hash=item53f866e500

Fog Grilles: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Front-Left-Right-Bumper-Fog-Lamp-Lights-Grill-Grille-For-VW-GOLF-MK5-GTI-/360740356930?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AGolf&hash=item53fdcd0342

but I don't think the ghenuine parts are overly expensive. The choices for fog grilles are open or closed. 'Open' grilles will come with a blanking part you can fit or remove.

Be aware tho, the GTI fog lights are slightly different to the GT ones though. I don't know the differences from memory.
