well after months of not really doing much on the golf i finally got a few things done .

bbs's are back on for summer duties
fitted a new abs pump and bled the brakes
had it serviced
fitted a rns 510
fitted a new side skirt as 1 got damaged on a track day with a jack!

all thats needed is a good clean and i will get some pics up

What where the symptoms on the bad ABS pump?

Hi mate I had a ESP light on the dash and had fault code g201

well after reading about intake temps i went and wrapped mine and the difference after a swift drive is so different , before putting your hand on it was almost too hot to do but now its luke warm which must be a good thing ! will get some pics up soon

With Polar FIS+ you can follow the difference in your dash 
I might look into this heat shield wrapping, any good places to buy this stuff?

That's good to Hear.  Be interesting to see actual difference in intake air temps.

I ordered some heat reflective wrap the other day :)
