Unfortunately my plans didn't go as well as I hoped, I was due to be on the V-Maxx stand but my rad started pissing coolant out last week so I had to use the fitting money for a rad and fitting.

I decided to join a friend on the auto jumble and I made £250 from parts I accumulated for cars I no longer own, my mate made £650 clearing his garage of interiors, switches and trim.  Not bad for a days work, and I'm tempted to do it again next year!

Congratulations to plush-automotive for winning best MK5, and I'm glad you got your lines back on in time to collect your trophy!  You deserve it mate, your car is awesome!

Good morning guys, was good meeting up with you and being able to put faces to the names.
The class of car at the show was great. Saturday was as busy as the normal sunday and sunday was that busy that they ran out of tickets!

Greenhouse, met up with steve last night on the road home and handed over the package.

Can i just say, the GTI performs real well when it comes to fuel consumption sitting at a steady pace. Used 3/4 of a tank covering 370 miles with the cruise set at 80mph.

Robin, had a look around to see the twintake and nothing was spotted. So dont think they launched it at the show from what i could see.

Anyway, will post up some pics when i get a chance this week.

Thanks again guys for coming along and hope we can get more there next year

Reading the pages on Edition38 it wasnt just us who thought the show was spoilt by the chav element. I do hope this isnt a sign of the way the whole Vag scene is going. The show put on by Edition38 was great but its always such a shame when people spoil it by pinching bits off cars, stealing from tent and generally dicking about. Purely for this fact I will seriously think twice about going next year.  :chicken:
