Forgive me, my GTI Brothers for I have sinned....  :evilgrin:

I was on a "competition run" with a mate as to who could get the most from a tank of fuel....

I got 420miles  :ashamed:

Worry not, I'll soon be back to my 280miles per tank  :driver: :grin: :grin:

I would find that impossible! The best I have ever managed is 360 miles to a tank and I literally rolled everywhere. How the hell did you do that??  :laugh:

that's better than me! I've never even made 300 miles to a tank! Too tempting to floor it every opportunity I get.

here we go coco  just found you next car and its a vdub  An automobile that gets 265 miles per gallon ... :This is the Volkswagen 1 Liter car. It travels 100 Kilometers (62 miles) on one Liter (just over a quart) of Diesel fuel. It meets all US safety standards. It's a 2 passenger car.

It has an 8hp diesel engine. It's moving at about 45 mph but can reach 85mph. It ran from Stuttgart to Hamburg for a meeting in the rain and got 265 miles per gallon with two people in it. The driver said it could have done better if not for having to use the wipers.

It uses three TV cameras for rear view mirrors. It is also fully automatic.

 one reasonably light passenger can reach 100 Miles Per Hour with 5hp.

I feel like I am driving like a granny all the time now.  I get 340 pretty much every tank from country lane/A road driving to and from work.  But 420 is just sooo wrong...20 lashes for that young man!  :grin:
