Rear Calipers
« on: October 19, 2013, 12:36:02 pm »
Just had my car back from VW after going in for an Oil Change Service and Brake Fluid change. Unfortunately they have said both my rear caliper bleed nipples have seized. They couldn't remove them and didn't want to push too much as they had no spare nipples or calipers if something were to snap.

My question is, are they worth replacing with R32 calipers? What's the benefits as I see its a popular mod?

IMO if you still have the standard front brakes then adding R32 rear brakes will unbalance the car's braking.
Without traction power is nothing!

Thanks for the reply, may look at doing them all over time. Nothing wrong with operation of the calipers just can't be bled
