Dsg is the future

So there is a strong argument to get another manual and enjoy it whilst you can sanj

my personal opinion is that DSG is the best of both worlds and i would never drive a manual again. you might not feel it's involving enough. only you will know. test drive it and see.

Don't get me started on dsg    :signLOL: never did anything for me after owning one and driving loads but for some people it's the best thing ever but it would be a boring world if we all liked the same thing  :happy2:

Mods yes but way too many to stick in this little box

I was just like you buddy, thought manuals are always better.

But DSG is flipping great! Took me a couple of test drives to like it and now I love it. Only way is just to try it out and find out if it works for you!

Having said that though I do still own a few manuals to scratch that itch.

Never been a fan of automatics. However. I don't see these as an auto. They are so smooth and progressive. The gear change is faultless and almost predictive and super smooth it's also faster too in theory as the change is quicker.

Let me put it this way. My other half only drives auto and she recently bought a new insignia diesel auto and I thought it was super smooth. That is until I got my dsg and now hers seems poor by comparison.

It looks like a nice one!  I love the grey car and black wheel combination and DSG is great - I wouldn't be without it now.  Check with them that the warranty is transferable - by the way it's an official 'VW' extended warranty with Mondial.  I know because I asked VW when I was speaking to them about something else earlier today!  :happy2:  If I lived closer, I might have been tempted to buy it myself!  Good luck!

2.7 Transfer of ownership

transferred to the new owner providing that the registration fee of £17.50 is paid. Cover will

As soon as possible after the date of sale, please complete the form at the back of this

Volkswagen Approved Warranty Administration Services, PO Box 1051, Croydon CR9 1RE.
Please make cheques payable to Volkswagen Approved Warranty Administration Services.
N.B. The Extended Warranty is not transferable to any other vehicle other than that shown
on the confirmation of cover letter.
