Evening all. New poster here
My golf came with the generic stereo and touch adapter screwed into the dashboard. All my music is MP3 and I don't want CD's all over the place so that was no good. Tried a sony unit but I don't like the look of it in the car so that's going soon
Looking for a bit of advice, but would a RCD510 fit my bill? requirements are
can play MP3's, etc (a usb stick in the glovebox or something is fine, bluetooth better but i think the unit has a big say in that?)
will interact with the bluetooth unit in the car via the head unit for calls
DAB would be great. Would I have to get a window mounted antennae though or could I change the mast on the sharkfin on on the back?
not bothered about sat nav
Probably stupid questions but you seem a helpful lot in here
