Bloody hell what a faff! I booked a vauxhall astra £85 from the nearest supplier to me, i then got a conformation e-mail which said if im under 25 i will be charged the £25 a day fee even though it didnt tell me this. So i rang up and they said that supplier charges the fee but 2 more a little bit further away don't charge so i said ok i will go for that. They then told me they dont have the astra at them suppliers but can supply me with a golf for £150! I know its a better car but whats the price hike about? then he said i could have a citroen c4 for £115 so i said ok i will take that then, they then told me that supplier doesnt accept maestro card! and i cant use my parents cards because it has to be in my name! My mate booked it in his name and will drive instead anyway but just thought id warn anybody else to double check before booking.

It's a huge faff.
I hired a Fiesta for 4 days in Scotland on a business trip.

Total cost was around £202 which I thought was fairly reasonable.
However included within that price was  a £25 a day "young driver" charge and not only that but they wanted £150 deposit on top of that -

If they didn't tell you about it over the phone when you agreed you should have stuck it to them and made them stick to it.. It's not your fault they cant supply what you ordered!!!
