Al you are defo turning into a mad modder and your choices get better all the time.  :congrats:

The seats look in great nick, They will have the heating already inside the seats, you just need to get a couple more parts.
could you PM me how much you paid please, as mine are going up for sale soon i think.  :happy2:

only the best people have .:R logos on their Recaro's

Nope! your wrong Robin, You just accepted second best, and never finished the mod properly. A GTI should have the GTI logo.  :P

Hi mate, live in Wolverhampton, don't do many miles, so probably seen it on my drive or in the garage having work done,
Where abouts are you?
Thanks for all the kind comments guys, means a lot.

Hi Al

I usually take a walk with my baby boy to northicote park on my day off on wednesdays, and we walk past your drive on the way.

Car looks even better in the flesh, really like what you've done bud.

Been a while since I updated the thread, it is winter time, so not been doing loads lately except  for constantly cleaning snow and ice off it.
First small mod was a nice piece of carbon interior, first part if you don't count the forge cans. Must say I think I may end up with a few more bits of this somewhere now.

Also, thanks to Redsnake and some poor ebay wording I managed to finally get an Edition 30 splitter, did want the votex one, but this one went for £100 and only cost £70 at Chase Automotive to have sprayed so can't  complain. Looks the dogs compared to the old standard painted one I had, gives a much more aggressive and full look, and also got the US badgeless grill which is nice.

I was originally going to use a metal cover like the sort redrobin uses, but when I went to Chris in stoke to pick up the centre strip he kindly gave me a  complete cover, which I was very grateful for, and after seeing how he did his strip blue then I thought I may as well try the whole mod.
The garage also painted up my modded engine cover, not fitted it properly yet, as trying to figure out how to get the sensor around the one part, (any tips?) Went for the opposite of how it was originally, silver where the black was, and black where the silver was. Really pleased with it, and  quite pleased with how it looks. If you do this yourself then it is worth filling the open side up with some of the spare plastic and some filler, As you can see on the first side on picture.

Lots more to  come as I am sure you have all come to realise by now.

My gti is silver and this is how I want mine looking! Just one question how do you attach the number plate? Is it magnetic?
