Aarons GTI on rotiforms
« on: October 20, 2013, 06:06:35 pm »
Hi so thought i would make a thread on my car and through its progress

here it is from the begining as i got it

then i put it into the body shop for a edition 30 splitter i supplied a brand new bumper and splitter as i wanted  the recess bonded so it looks one piece :)
i told him any imperfections sort them so it came back immaculate

i then felt really rude having a fresh gti on some battered monza alloys
so i picked up some rotiform alloy wheels  :happy2:

#

then the next step was a double din

then i fitted a neuspeed pflo intake

then my decat came so i fitted that along with a new dogbone mount from tps!

then i changed my pcv valve i believe its called as mine was knackered and the seal and oh my gosh the difference it made was unbelievable i was shocked how much power i was down by

after doing that it made me think if my pcv valve was that knackered what is my recirculation valve like
so i picked up one with the part number ending d so i believe rev d from tuning werkes

the state of my old one

then my new one isit a rev d ?

i now believe the guy and dyno print as proof of remap, that came with my car as with the new valve it spins second the dsg changes are quicker and pops and sounds alot more aggresive

Looking great mate  :happy2:

How did you find the fit of the ToyoSport decat? Looking into getting on for mine. Had one on my old mk4 and for money was happy.

Other than light coming on dash all fine?

Si

Thank you guys
Yeah they are genuine rotiform wheels :)  checked by numbers on inside of the wheel with them got centre caps coming from America
The dares drop in were as my concave steps in gradually that's how you can tell real from fake

Yeh Toyosports decat is amazing unbeatable at that price I also fitted one on my mates a3 2.0tfsi

Next I think I want r32 rear bumper
