Pioneer Password Problems

I have just changed my facia surround for my pioneer avic f930bt, which included removing the unit and re-installing it. As soon as I switched it on, it's asking for a password that I don't know ! I had it fitted 2 years ago by someone else. Anyone else had this frustration ??

I took it to a place in York, took an hour for Pioneer tech guy to ring back and 30 seconds for the passsword to be reset....result.
