Few of the guys locally have said that torque and bhp should meet at approx 5900-6000revs is this correct I could be wrong but he was saying its hard to get a good reading with the DSG?

Stock back box could hold it back a bit?

Is the DSG stock or mapped?

Niki @ R-Tech noticed with the twin exit cupra exhausts that on higher power (2+ setups) the Backbox restricts the flow.

DSG limiters may hold it back too?

BHP and torque curve in lbfts should cross at 5252rpm

Do you have the DSG mapped?

Ohh yeah... hes way down. ive seen a stage 2 golf R make 325bhp

Dsg as I'm finding out can be a hit and a miss on dyno I'm 2+ and made 345 BHP and 350 od lb but was at a rolling road last week and it wouldn't pull over 300 bhp although it's definitely still running fine
Iv been told that my dsg is holding back my figures at it drops off power early to change gear true or not I don't know but I'm getting my dsg remapped soon

How can you be going that far up the Rev range on an unmapped dsg box  :scared:

Could be part of the issue... The S3 was manwell and iirc the Cupras are manual only its just the FR that you can get with a dsg box.

Just got in touch with the tuner of the RR and he says he measures bhp at the wheels so as far as I'm aware that would make my car approx 345bhp? And about the same lbs ft torque?

So am I safe to say panic over?

WHP makes sense now. . . I was just thinking this when I was opening your thread. WHP will be lower on an R than a 2+ ed30 as the 4WD setup saps a bit of power  (prop shaft still turning whilst on the Dyno) :happy2:
