ive been told these will be fine im going from standard 17s to 18s with ET42 so they will poke by more than 12mm will that be fine or to close to the arches??? really worried as ive already order the wheels

Should be no problem around 15mm more poke than a monza.  :happy2:

I'm all the way down on ap coilovers and have 8" front 9" rear, both et42. No probs. tyres are 225/40/18

You will be fine on JOMS or AP coils or lowering springs.
You need spigot rings to take you to 57.1

you will need a centreing ring, mk5 chassis cb is 57.1 :happy2:

I had these exact spec on mine, and it had a reasonable drop. They'll need the screw mod (search for it) but will be ok.  :happy2:

Search for it..? As above..

It's where you remove a screw and bend a tab in the upper wheel arch out of the way.
